Creative Direction & Audiovisual Narrative
We developed a series of audiovisual pieces that capture the creative ecosystem of Margarida Girão’s collage workshops. The project covered the entire process — from concept and creative direction to filming and editing — with the aim of documenting the experimental nature and the “joyful unexpected” that defines these sessions.
Between Spontaneity and Technical Rigor
Our approach explored the contrast between playful nonsense and technical precision. By translating the surrealism of the collages into video format, we created a visual narrative that defies the obvious, transforming the documentary record into an artistic object in its own right.

Deliberate Abstraction
We used nonsense and surrealism as compositional tools to challenge the viewer’s expectations. This strategy allowed us to explore non-linear narratives that reflect the essence of the workshops, while maintaining a coherent visual structure.
